What Are Business Services?
Business services are the actions/activities that help companies but don’t always result in tangible goods. This is because service providers focus on providing a value-add rather than creating physical products.
They are often offered on a contract basis. In other words, a company agrees to pay for the work you perform in exchange for your expertise and time.
These services include everything from administrative support to logistics and security services. They’re used by businesses of all sizes and industries.
There are three main types of service businesses: business-to-business (B2B), social, and personal.
The first type, B2B, helps other businesses operate more efficiently or produce more output for a flat fee. It can be an online or in-person service.
Another type, B2C, provides consumer-oriented products and services to consumers for a fee. They’re usually online or in-person and can be a great source of extra income for entrepreneurs.
The third type, social, involves helping people in a way that benefits society. For example, a nonprofit organization might give out free legal assistance or medical care to help people with their everyday needs. The charity may also raise funds through sales to increase its outreach.
